Product Description

She had heard about paddocks of flowers but rarely seen them. So far on this trip she had seen daffodils, jonquils, snowdrops and a mass of iris flowers.

The only other time she’d seen this was many years before. It was after a flood. She found a sea of paper daisies when the mud dried up enough to stand on without sinking, she picked handfuls of those. Short stems but lovely delicate petals like paper. The rustled in the breeze and were massed as far as she could see. She never saw them again despite several floods, but those bunches lasted for years.

I am a maker; I get restless if I don't make something and I believe, someone, somewhere is making everything, so why can't l

I didn't do art at school; didn't believe I had that talent. I learned this story was not true in the early 1990's and have been creating art ever since.

In 2019I started a 100-day project which took my art practice to a new level of discipline and meant I had to show up every day with purpose. I enjoy humble subjects, simple items and things from our homes, and the world. In 2020 I started telling the story. In 2023 there came a book. My passion is storytelling through words and images.
