Beautiful woven rattan basket.  A basket in every room can be used as a decorative piece or to store extra toys, cushions, throws and other bits and bobs. 

Product Description

As the name suggests our Grande basket is luxurious in size with a generous, deep basket and comfortable carry handle. Ideal for larger shopping trips, picnics or even a fireside companion.

Grande is made from Kubu rattan, a sustainable species of cane that grows abundantly and wild throughout South East Asia. After harvesting, it is sun dried and then soaked in a natural water bath, which makes it pliable for weaving and produces the distinctive, warm colour.

How to care for properly 

Clean with a damp microfiber cloth with soapy water in the same direction of any rows. Wipe down with a dry microfiber cloth until completely dry. Keep in a dry place. If combining with a plant, always use a suitable saucer to catch excess drainage water. Avoid direct sunlight as it may cause fading.

Due to the natural rigidity of Kubu cane and the structural tension that occurs at right angles, splitting at the corners of square/rectangular baskets is a common and expected characteristic. This does not affect the integrity or durability of the basket and is considered a normal aspect of working with natural, handwoven materials and not considered a fault.
