Product Description
Did you know when you live hours west of the Dividing Range you have a whole new appreciation for shopping?
Small towns offer unrivalled community, there are amazing shops, with stylish clothes, wonderful options for gifts, nurseries, lots of great coffee, remarkable art. But fresh produce takes on a whole new meaning when there are smaller supermarkets and the tyranny of distance.
She found herself in a specialist grocer one day, in the city, a BIG one. Like a fish out of her pond she walked around with her mouth open gulping in the lavish alternatives. There were so many kinds of vegetables, and more options for exotic salads than she could remember seeing. Cheeses, fruits. She was spoilt for choice and wanted to take them all home.
She came home to their town, with its community and the people she loved, she knew this was a special place and they were lucky to have the options and connection they did. She would hanker after the options available in the big cities at times, but mostly be grateful for the peace of home.

About Robyn
The story telling artist.
I am a maker; I get restless if I don't make something and I believe, someone, somewhere is making everything, so why can't l
I didn't do art at school; didn't believe I had that talent. I learned this story was not true in the early 1990's and have been creating art ever since.
In 2019I started a 100-day project which took my art practice to a new level of discipline and meant I had to show up every day with purpose. I enjoy humble subjects, simple items and things from our homes, and the world. In 2020 I started telling the story. In 2023 there came a book. My passion is storytelling through words and images.
