Why we love this piece

Art gives something, every day. If you love it, it will transform your house into a home filled with your memories.  Prints are a great way to do this. They make a statement in your home and have something to say.

This is an original watercolour by Robyn. This is an exclusive opportunity to own one of these gorgeous artworks. Once these are sold, they will not be available again.

Product Description

Having unpacked enough stuff to create a mess, she now needed to cook. There was only so much takeaway she could justify. The friends had gone, leaving blessed order. So, the next step was to eat a good healthy meal, one with colours. Now to work the stove. She stood awkwardly at it, a foreign object with push buttons but no buttons, only marks on the black glassy top.

Okay, how hard can this be she said. Beep. Beep. Beep. Nothing. Fine, I didn’t want to cook anyway, she said googling instructions. No wi-fi, thank heavens for personal data. It didn’t occur to her to look for the physical manual, it was probably there, somewhere, she’d kept so many of her own diligently, in case.

The model was absent from the list online.

She tried again, beep-beep-beep, finally lights moved from one element to the next. Yes, progress. Now where was the pan, and the spatula, and the plates and the glasses, ah here they are, where is the wine?

About Robyn

The story telling artist.

I am a maker; I get restless if I don't make something and I believe, someone, somewhere is making everything, so why can't l

I didn't do art at school; didn't believe I had that talent. I learned this story was not true in the early 1990's and have been creating art ever since.

In 2019I started a 100-day project which took my art practice to a new level of discipline and meant I had to show up every day with purpose. I enjoy humble subjects, simple items and things from our homes, and the world. In 2020 I started telling the story. In 2023 there came a book. My passion is storytelling through words and images.
