Like a fish out of her pond she walked around with her mouth open gulping in the lavish alternatives. There were so many kinds of vegetables, and more options for exotic salads than she could remember seeing. Cheeses, fruits. She was spoilt for choice and wanted to take them all home.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p2\"\u003eShe came home to their town, with its community and the people she loved, she knew this was a special place and they were lucky to have the options and connection they did. I learned this story was not true in the early 1990's and have been creating art ever since.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIn 2019I started a 100-day project which took my art practice to a new level of discipline and meant I had to show up every day with purpose. I enjoy humble subjects, simple items and things from our homes, and the world. In 2020 I started telling the story. In 2023 there came a book.
