About the Artists
Outside the city - Bianca Palazzi is an illustrator from London. She loves using colour and shape when drawing the world around her. Her work focusses on lots of fun themes. She especially loves drawing houses, mountains and trees! How could we not turn her wonderful worlds into puzzles and paint by numbers kit for kids.
May Gibbs - May Gibbs is one of Australia’s best loved, classic children’s book writers and artists. May’s deep love of the Australian bush was portrayed in her work, engendering in children her own love of nature. The Gumnut Babies, May’s classic book about Australian bush fairies, was first published in 1916 and was followed by many other Gumnut stories including her famous creations Snugglepot & Cuddlepie.
Flower Patch - Ekaterina Trukhan is an internationally published illustrator and author of children's books. She loves to create playful artworks with vivid colours to bring joy and make people smile.
Babushkas -
Alice Hoffman spent 15 years as an art and creative director in International agencies. For the last 4 years of her career she has been focusing on illustration. Her style is minimalist, unique graphic and naive, with a powerful and bold range of colours.
